Zoodl: AI-Powered K–8 Learning Experience
Led the end-to-end product design of an AI-powered learning platform, creating intuitive student and parent experiences across homework help, study tools, profiles, and account management. Designed responsive interfaces, reusable components, and interaction patterns that simplify complex AI functionality.
The Challenge
Zoodl needed to turn a complex AI-powered learning experience into something intuitive enough for elementary and middle school students to use independently. The challenge was designing an experience that could guide students from a homework question to understanding - not simply provide an answer while keeping interactions simple, engaging, and age-appropriate. At the same time, the platform needed a separate parent experience for managing child profiles, monitoring activity, and handling subscriptions, creating two distinct user journeys within one cohesive product.

Lead Product Designer. Led the end-to-end UX from research and information architecture through user flows, interaction design, prototyping, and visual design. Built a scalable component system and carried the experience from concept through implementation.
Strategy
Defined a dual-audience experience for K–8 students and parents within a single platform. Designed guided AI interactions, age-appropriate learning flows, parent-managed profiles, and subscription experiences around distinct user needs.
